EU Sport Forum, November 2008
|
The European Commission organised the first EU Sport Forum since the adoption of the White Paper on Sport in Biarritz on 26th and 27th November 2008. The Forum took place in close connection with the informal meeting of EU Sport Ministers under the French EU Presidency, also in Biarritz on 27th and 28th November.
As foreseen in the White Paper on Sport, the EU Sport Forum is a key annual event in the framework of the structured dialogue on sport at EU level.

Joint conference hosted by EOSE and the EQF-Sport project
|
The European Observatoire of Sport and Employment (EOSE) and EQF-Sport project joint European Conference entitled "A common approach from the Sport and Active Leisure Sector to the tools of workforce development and worker mobility" was organised in Brussels on 15th and 16th December 2008 and gathered more than 60 participants from 18 different EU countries.
